Hello and Welcome Dear Friends to Loaves and Dishes!!!
From guest contributor, Sarah Uselton!
Hi Everyone, Sarah here! Every time I come home my mom always calls me a day or so ahead and asks what I want for dinner. Most of the time I ask for her famous “Fettuccini Alfredo”. I hope she shares that recipe with you some day. Recently, my mom started making a chicken recipe that is the most delicious and amazing stuff ever! She wouldn’t want me to tell you this – because it sounds so unappetizing, but she has been calling it “Sludge chicken”. It is kind of a sludge before you cook it. I decided that wasn’t the most appetizing name – so I am calling this recipe, “Mama’s most juicy chicken”. Not only is it super delicious, its easy to make, easy on the wallet and its pretty easy on the eyes too!!
There are only a few ingredients and it is made with things usually found in the refrigerator.
This dish is sure to impress your friends or significant other. When ever I talk about making dinner, my fiancé begs for this chicken!!!
Serving Suggestions for Mama’s Most Juicy Chicken
Serve with Roasted Sweet Potatoes, a Fresh Green Salad and a crusty piece of bread. YUM!
Thanks for visiting! I can’t wait to cook for you all again! See you next time!
Sarah
- 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1½ cups real mayo
- ½ cup Italian bread crumb (can be left out if not on hand)
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper
- Mix the mayo, bread crumbs, cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Place the chicken breast on a sheet pan and spread the mixture on the top and bottom of the chicken – massage into the meat as much as possible. Place in a 350 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes depending on chicken size. Chicken is done when juices run clear when the meat is pierced with a knife.
